titleOfInvention | Novel mammalian peptides and polynucleotides encoding them |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel mammalian peptide, particularly a proto-oncogene H Activity of suppressing canceration of cells by -ras or Hr Provided are a peptide having an activity of suppressing the growth of cells transformed with as, and a polypeptide encoding the same. SOLUTION: Differential display using total RNA extracted from ATDC5 cells, which is a chondrogenic EC cell line, is performed to isolate a polypeptide encoding the following peptide (A) or (B). (A) A peptide having a specific amino acid sequence derived from a mouse or from a human. (B) the amino acid sequence has an amino acid sequence having one or more amino acid substitutions, deletions, insertions, or metastases, and is H-ras cancerous cells or H-ras. A peptide having an activity of inhibiting the growth of cells transformed with ras. |
