(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Problem] A method for directly producing a 7-aminocephem compound by a microorganism. A cephalosporin C acylase gene was cloned from Acremonium chrysogenum, its structure was elucidated, and a vector for expressing the enzyme in the filamentous fungus was constructed. Further, in order to efficiently express the gene, a vector was constructed which was linked to the alkaline protease promoter of the filamentous fungus. The 7-aminocephem compound is directly produced by transforming and culturing the filamentous fungus with these vectors. |
