abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a working clay which has excellent water resistance after drying and has no adverse effect on the environment even when buried in soil after disposal. SOLUTION: (A) one or two or more kinds of base powders selected from vegetable powders such as wood flour, paper pulp and rice hulls and inorganic powders such as talc and silica; (C) In the clay for work containing water, the (B) A water-resistant working clay is provided by using a sizing agent containing glucomannan as a component sizing agent.
