abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide copper phthalocyanine crude and semicrude in which impurities, particularly organic impurities, are reduced as compared with conventional ones. SOLUTION: The unpurified copper phthalocyanine is washed, In the process for producing copper phthalocyanine crude to obtain copper phthalocyanine crude, unpurified copper phthalocyanine is washed with at least an inorganic base solution such as an alkali metal hydroxide. In addition to washing with an inorganic base solution, washing with an inorganic acid solution or washing with an alcohol is preferably performed. Further, when washing the crude copper phthalocyanine while introducing steam into the inorganic base solution during the washing with the inorganic base solution, impurities, particularly organic impurities, can be further reduced. When the copper phthalocyanine crude thus obtained is ground, a copper phthalocyanine semicrude with reduced impurities is obtained. |
