abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To increase the use efficiency of fluorescent light and improve the S / N of a fluorescent image in a fluorescent image display device that displays information according to the fluorescent light emitted from a living body measurement unit. SOLUTION: Excitation light L3 is emitted from a GaN-based semiconductor laser 114. The living body measurement unit 10 is irradiated with the fluorescent light L4, and the mosaic filter 123 composed of a yellow filter that transmits a wavelength band of 510 nm or more and a blank that transmits light of all measurement wavelength bands is transmitted through the image fiber 103. The light is received by the on-chip CCD image sensor 125. The fluorescence image processing unit 130 calculates, for each pixel of the CCD image sensor 125, a signal intensity Ye2 of 510 nm or more and a signal intensity B2 of a blue wavelength band of 510 nm or less from the signal intensity W2 of the entire measurement wavelength band, and calculates the signal intensity W2. The relative ratio of the signal intensity B2 is displayed in a pseudo color by the additive color mixing method. By using the yellow filter which is a complementary color of blue, the fluorescence can be used effectively, and the S / N of the displayed image is improved.
