titleOfInvention Moisture absorber for sanitary material and method for producing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water absorber for a sanitary material having improved mechanical strength and a reduced water absorption, and a method for producing such a water absorber. (A) A water absorber comprising a fiber aggregate, wherein (A) at least a part of the fibers forming the fiber aggregate comprises (B) an aqueous resin emulsion and (C) a re-emulsifying form. It is a moisture absorber for sanitary materials that is at least partially bound by a resin derived from at least one selected from powdered resins. Such a water absorber can be produced, for example, by applying (A) an aqueous resin emulsion to (A) a fiber aggregate. Further, it can also be produced by causing (C) the re-emulsifiable powder resin to be present on the surface and / or inside of the (A) fiber aggregate and applying water.
