titleOfInvention Lamp reflector for LCD backlight
abstract (57) [Abstract] (with correction) [Problem] To prevent discoloration and deterioration of a white reflective film, which is a material of a lamp reflector, due to the influence of heat and ultraviolet rays generated from a lamp, and to reduce the luminance of a liquid crystal display with time. Provide low-cost lamp reflectors for backlight of liquid crystal display device to prevent. SOLUTION: A transparent resin layer containing an ultraviolet absorbent is provided on a reflection surface side of a white reflection film. An ultraviolet absorber such as an acrylic copolymer obtained by copolymerizing an acrylic ester monomer having an ultraviolet absorbing skeleton such as a 2-hydroxybenzophenone skeleton or a 2-hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole skeleton with another acrylic monomer is chemically bonded to the resin. It is preferable to use a resin material contained in the resin in a reacted form as a transparent resin containing an ultraviolet absorber in terms of compatibility and ultraviolet absorbing ability. The obtained lamp reflector is incorporated in a liquid crystal display device such that the ultraviolet absorbent-containing transparent resin layer faces the lamp.
