titleOfInvention | Sensor element and method of manufacturing the same |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A current collector comprising a sensitive layer comprising a biocatalyst for identifying a target substance, or a permselective membrane for selectively blocking permeation of a coexisting substance causing an undesirable electrochemical reaction. Provided are a sensor element which can be strongly supported on a surface and is used in an electrochemical measurement system, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: By forming at least the surface layer portion of the current collector as a mixture containing both a metal and an inorganic substance or an organic substance, a sensitive layer containing a biocatalyst for identifying a target substance or an undesirable electrochemical reaction can be formed. A permselective membrane that selectively blocks permeation of co-existing interfering substances can be physically or chemically supported. |
