PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle useful as a standard particle for particle size calibration in a nanometer size region and a method capable of stably generating the particle by a simple procedure without being affected by the environment. And a generator therefor. SOLUTION: An atomic ion generated from a radioactive rare gas is generated by radioactive decay of a radionuclide in a standard gas atmosphere from which a trace amount of water molecules has been removed. |
