titleOfInvention Building cushioning material and building edge structure using the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a cushioning material and a border structure of a building capable of eliminating mutual interference of vibration between adjacent buildings and uneven earth pressure applied to the building. SOLUTION: The edging structure of a building according to the present invention is an underground portion 1 of adjacent and substantially independent buildings 10,11. 2, a cushioning material 13 for a building according to the present invention is disposed between outer wall surfaces 14 and 15 facing each other. In one embodiment, a pair of ridges are provided on at least a lower end portion and left and right end portions of the underground portion of the outer wall surfaces 14 and 15, and the pair of ridges hold and cushion the cushioning material 13. An inclined surface is defined on one of the opposing surfaces of the pair of ridges so as to define a gap portion for fixing, and the cross section of the gap portion forms a wedge shape. One that is press-fitted and fixed in the gap portion is exemplified.
