abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a method for treating an organic arsenic compound capable of completely decomposing an organic arsenic compound into inorganic arsenic without polluting the environment. An organic arsenic compound in an aqueous medium is reacted with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of at least one metal ion selected from the group consisting of iron ions, copper ions, cobalt ions and manganese ions. A method for treating an organic arsenic compound in which the compound is oxidatively decomposed into inorganic arsenic. |
