abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To accurately test blood components, which has been used as an index for disease detection and health care guidance, by measuring urine components. Provided is a blood component concentration estimating method and apparatus which can reduce the burden on an examiner. SOLUTION: In addition to calculating the amount of creatinine excreted in daily urine of a subject, a regression equation showing a correlation between the total amount of specific component excreted in urine per day and the concentration of an estimated target component in blood is calculated. The amount of creatinine in the test urine and the amount of the specific component in the test urine were measured, and the value obtained by dividing the amount of creatinine excreted in the urine per day by the amount of creatinine in the test urine was multiplied by the amount of the specific component in the test urine. And a device for estimating the concentration of a component in blood by calculating the total amount of specific component excretion in the above and substituting the amount of specific component excretion in urine per day into the regression equation. |
