titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for measuring the tension of wires, bars or strips
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately analyze a vibration waveform of a vibration signal from a material to be measured, particularly a vibration signal inevitably generated without using a vibration device, based on a novel calculation method. Accordingly, in the process of calculating the tension from the frequency peak, a method for measuring the tension of a wire, a rod or a strip, and a device therefor, capable of accurately and stably detecting the peak value of the natural frequency in the process of calculating the tension. SOLUTION: A vibration waveform of a measurement target material 3 composed of a wire, a bar or a strip which is stretched and passing through a wire is measured by a non-contact vibration measuring means 11, and a frequency analysis of the vibration waveform is performed by a maximum entropy method. A method of measuring the tension of a wire, a bar, or a strip, wherein the frequency of a peak that is outstanding is determined as a resonance frequency peak. In this case, it is desirable to measure a vibration signal which is inevitably generated without using an additional vibrating device for the measured material 3 which is a wire, a bar, or a strip which is pulled and is in a running line.
