PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce acceptable ammonia at a continuously low temperature by using an electric gas discharge plasma. A gas stream containing nitrogen and water vapor is provided. It conducts to an electrical gas discharge where a catalyst is located in the discharge chamber, where the catalyst is titanium, zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, niobium, tantalum, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, iron, ruthenium, osmium, cobalt , Rhodium, iridium, nickel, palladium, platinum, manganese and at least one metal from the group of copper on the support material. |
