abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of cracks, to form a clear image with high resolution without ink bleeding and dulling, and to form a formed image having high water resistance and excellent in ink recording suitability. An image receiving sheet is provided. SOLUTION: A cross-linking agent capable of cross-linking a water-soluble resin with a coating layer of a coating material for a colorant receiving layer applied on a support before the coating layer exhibits a decreasing rate of drying rate. After applying the solution containing the crosslinking agent, the coating layer to which the solution containing the crosslinking agent has been applied is further dried and cured to obtain a coloring material receiving layer, which has a coloring material receiving layer on a support. An image receiving sheet, wherein the colorant receiving layer contains cationic inorganic fine particles. |
