(57) [Problem] To provide an exhaust gas treatment method capable of economically and efficiently treating a volatile organic substance. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas containing a volatile organic substance, to which steam has been added by a steam adding means 20, is introduced into a normal-pressure low-temperature microwave plasma apparatus 10, and the volatile organic substance is decomposed by plasma to thereby form a volatile organic substance. Exhaust gas containing substances is treated. |
