titleOfInvention Hydrogen visualizing agent, method for visualizing stored hydrogen, and material for visualizing stored hydrogen
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a hydrogen visualizing agent, a hydrogen visualizing method, a stored hydrogen visualizing material, and the like that can easily visualize hydrogen occluded in a material. SOLUTION: The hydrogen visualizing agent of the present invention is a hydrogen visualizing agent which visualizes by supplying hydrogen diffused from the material as iodine by supplying the material to the surface of the material, wherein the hydrogen visualizing agent has a pentavalent or more oxidized state. It consists of a composition containing iodine-containing ions or starch as an essential component. In the method for visualizing stored hydrogen according to the present invention, hydrogen diffused from the material on the surface of the material reacts with ions containing iodine in an oxidation state of pentavalent or more contained in the hydrogen visualizing agent, and the generated hydrogen is generated. This is a method of visualizing hydrogen by using iodine or, furthermore, the color developed by the iodine starch reaction.
