titleOfInvention Catalyst for Friedel-Crafts reaction and its reaction method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Lewis acid catalyst capable of performing an acylation reaction or the like with a high reaction yield even if the substance is inactive. SOLUTION: A gallium perflate represented by the following formula: Ga (OSO 2 C n F 2n + 1 ) 3 (n is an integer of 4 to 8) is used as a catalyst, and a substituent is added in the presence thereof. Aromatic ketones are produced by subjecting an aromatic hydrocarbon which may have an acylation reaction with an acid halide or an acid anhydride.
