abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefin polymerization catalyst and a method for producing a polyolefin, which can efficiently obtain a polyolefin having a high stereoregularity and a wide molecular weight distribution. SOLUTION: For olefin polymerization, at least one kind of a transition metal salt / organosilicon compound adduct selected from manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel and zinc, titanium, halogen and a specific electron donating compound are essential components. An olefin polymerization catalyst comprising a solid catalyst component and an organoaluminum compound is used. |
