(57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing an antibacterial fiber product having a bacteriostatic and bacteriostatic action using an extract of papaya. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a fiber product made of cotton, hemp, silk, or the like, which is subjected to cationization treatment by contacting with a pretreatment liquid containing a cationizing agent, and then extracting papain, chymopapain, and lysozyme extracts contained in papaya. The solution is brought into contact with a solution containing the mordant, and then brought into contact with a mordant solution containing a mordant to cause an adhesion reaction. |
