abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] In bulk polymerization such as reaction injection molding, stickiness does not occur on a mold molding surface and a molded product surface, corrosion of a metal mold does not occur, and unreacted molded products do not occur. Provided is a method for producing a cycloolefin polymer molded article having a significantly reduced monomer content and low monomer odor. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a cycloolefin polymer in which cycloolefin is bulk-polymerized in the presence of a metathesis catalyst system, (a) a metathesis catalyst system comprising a molybdenum-based or tungsten-based metathesis catalyst and a cocatalyst is used as a metathesis catalyst system. And (b) a method for producing a cycloolefin polymer in combination with a ruthenium-based metathesis catalyst. |
