Kind Code: A1 A panel of probes is used in which human p53 frequently appears or is selected in precancerous and cancerous cells. A set of mutations in the gene or p53 protein is detected and identified. Each set produces a phenotype that is different from the phenotype of wild-type p53 and at least one other set of p53 variants. [Effect] The progress and prognosis of precancerous and cancer cells can be determined. |
