abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductive film capable of forming a conductive layer by a coating method and having a large specific surface area, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This is a transparent conductive film containing a communication type porous carrier and a conductive inorganic compound, wherein the conductive inorganic compound is supported on the porous carrier. The conductive inorganic compound may be supported by adhering to the surface of the skeleton constituting the communicating porous carrier or being filled in pores of the porous carrier, or the conductive inorganic compound may be: One side of the communication type porous carrier may be supported so as to form a transparent first dense conductive layer.
