titleOfInvention | Surface electrometer sensor and image forming apparatus for electrophotographic photosensitive member |
abstract | (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic apparatus capable of avoiding that reflected light of an exposure light on a photoreceptor goes around a potential detecting unit and is reflected again to adversely affect a detected potential. Built-in surface voltmeter sensor and surface voltmeter sensor for controlling the image process, the reflected light of the exposure light from the photoreceptor goes around to the potential detecting section and re-reflects to adversely affect the detected potential. It is an object of the present invention to provide an image forming apparatus in which the proper and stable promise control works while avoiding the problem. According to the surface voltmeter sensor of the present invention, which is arranged close to the surface of an electrophotographic photosensitive member and measures the surface potential of the electrophotographic photosensitive member after the electrophotographic photosensitive member is charged and exposed. The detection surface of the sensor closest to the electrophotographic photosensitive member is optically non-reflective. |
