abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of reversibly discoloring due to a temperature change without impairing the soft texture of a fiber material, and to be suitable for producing various fiber processed products. The present invention provides a fibrous material such as a yarn or a cloth having a high commercial value, which is colored with a water-soluble coloring liquid and the coloring liquid. SOLUTION: (a) an electron-donating color-forming organic compound, (B) an electron accepting compound, (c) a reversible thermochromic composition comprising a compound which is a reaction medium for reversibly causing the electron transfer reaction according to (a) and (b) above, and a silicone resin emulsion in an aqueous medium. A reversible thermochromic coloring liquid for fibers contained therein, and a reversible thermochromic yarn or fabric using the same.
