Method for producing aliphatic polyester |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To easily produce an aliphatic polyester having a high molecular weight as a substitute for a general-purpose resin requiring toughness with 1) high volume efficiency and 2) using a volatile catalyst. 3) Produces high-molecular-weight aliphatic polyesters that are as safe as aliphatic polyesters obtained by a non-catalytic reaction with little catalyst residue, and 3) deviation of flowing gas and prepolymer in solid-state polymerization equipment. The present invention provides a method for safely and stably producing a uniform quality aliphatic polyester in various reaction types without causing fluidization of a solid phase such as the above. SOLUTION: The weight average molecular weight is 2,000 to 100,0. A crystallized aliphatic polyester prepolymer containing at least 50% of aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid units having a molecular weight of 00 is obtained by solid-state polymerization of aliphatic polyester containing at least 50% of aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid units in the presence of a catalyst under a flowing gas.
