PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a target organosilyl unsaturated carboxylate with high purity and high yield without producing an organosilyl saturated carboxylate which is an undesirable by-product. . SOLUTION: An unsaturated carboxylic acid and an organohydrosilane are reacted in the presence of a palladium catalyst, an aprotic polar solvent and a norbornene compound to produce an organosilyl unsaturated carboxylate with high purity and high yield. |
