abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminophore having no significant dependence of luminescence properties on the pH value of a sample at a physiological pH value, and therefore suitable for determining alkali ions in a biological sample -Make ionophores available. A triaza-cryptand of formula I. Especially X Is a luminophore moiety of formula II, III or IV or a luminescent metal ligand complex. A compound having a luminophore moiety and an ionophore moiety is provided, and the ionophore moiety is reacted with an alkali ion present in the sample, wherein the luminophore moiety changes its luminescence, measures the luminescence, and The presence of alkali ions in the sample is determined using the resulting luminescence.
