(57) [Summary] [Problem] When driving a vehicle in the cruise mode, The heater performance is improved by raising the engine water temperature early. When a vehicle travels in a cruise mode, at least one of a control intake air temperature TA, an outside air temperature estimated value TAFCMG, and an engine coolant temperature TW does not reach a predetermined temperature set for each of them. Then, the cruise power generation amount is raised to the predetermined value CR1, and charging of the battery is continued until both the battery temperature TBAT and the engine coolant temperature TW reach the respective predetermined temperatures. If it is determined that the battery cannot afford to receive any more charge, the ignition timing of the engine is delayed, the combustion efficiency is reduced, the engine temperature is raised, and the engine water temperature TW is raised. |
