abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitivity, high-color-separation-type heat-sensitive recording material capable of forming a high-density and clear multicolor image with a single heat-sensitive recording layer. . SOLUTION: This heat-sensitive recording material has a heat-sensitive recording layer containing, on a support, three or more kinds of electron-donating dye precursors that develop colors different from each other and an electron-accepting compound in the same layer. At least one of the electron-donating dye precursors is solid fine particles, and two or more electron-donating dye precursors other than the electron-donating dye precursor are made of wall materials having different glass transition points. A thermosensitive recording material encapsulated in microcapsules and having a difference in glass transition point between the microcapsules of 20 ° C. or more. |
