A biodegradable foam raising seedling pot that does not require transplanting of seedlings from a raising seedling pot and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Cellulose acetate resin, biodegradable plasticizer having a melting point lower than the softening point of the resin, A foamable biodegradable resin composition containing water as a foaming agent, and extruded at the same time as the foamed biodegradable resin extruded foam sheet produced by foaming by the vaporization expansion force of water into a holeless bottom cup shape. Provided are a biodegradable foam growing seedling pot formed by heat shaping and a method for producing the same.
