| abstract | [PROBLEMS] To improve the light resistance of a molded article made of urethane resin by forming a coating film almost uniformly on the surface of urethane resin molded by water foaming. After a solution of paint M is poured into a cavity 17 of an opened mold 7, the mold 7 is closed and a vacuum pump 3 is closed. 4 is driven to reduce the pressure inside the cavity 17. Then, the solvent of the coating material M boils. The paint M is efficiently and uniformly applied to the wall surface of the cavity 17 due to the increase in volume and the breakage of bubbles at the time of boiling. Thereafter, the cavity 17 is placed under normal pressure, and a urethane material is mixed and injected into the cavity 17 and water-foamed, so that the resin portion of the steering wheel is simultaneously molded and painted. |
