abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] Ammonium polyphosphate and tris- (2 (Hydroxyalkyl) isocyanurate to provide a flame retardant and a flame-retardant resin composition having improved hygroscopicity and foaming property, and tackiness and coloring (gray) of the surface when formed into a molded article. . SOLUTION: A flame retardant containing ammonium polyphosphate (A), tris- (2-hydroxyalkyl) isocyanurate (B), and a moisture-absorbing agent (C), and further containing an inorganic fiber (D). It is a flame retardant. It is a resin composition containing these flame retardants, especially a polypropylene resin composition.
