titleOfInvention | Reflector, reflective polarizer using the same, and liquid crystal display |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type liquid crystal display device which can obtain a bright and good visibility screen even when viewed from an angle where reflection of external light is avoided, and a reflection plate and reflection therefor. A polarizing plate is provided. SOLUTION: A first mixture layer containing fine particles and resin, a metal layer, and a second mixture layer containing fine particles and resin are laminated in this order on a base material, and an incident light 2 from one direction is formed. In the reflection plate, there is provided a reflection plate having a reflection light intensity distribution in which the reflection light intensity is maximized at an angle deviated from the regular reflection angle (θ 1 ) by 5 ° or more in the reflection angle dependence curve of the reflected light intensity with respect to. Further, there is provided a reflective polarizer in which the reflective plate is laminated with a polarizer, and further, a reflective liquid crystal display device in which the reflective plate or the reflective polarizer is combined with a liquid crystal cell is provided. |
