(57) [Problem] To provide a metal working lubricant having excellent extreme pressure performance as compared with conventional ones. The present invention provides a compound represented by the following general formula (1): In the formula, R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group or the following general formula (2) — (R 4 —O) n —R 5 (2) (wherein R 4 is an alkylene group R 5 represents a hydrocarbon group, and n represents a number of 1 or more.) However, at least one of R 1 , R 2 and R 3 One is a group represented by the general formula (2).
