titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of aromatic polycarbonate |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polycarbonate which has a favorable hue by a melt polycondensation reaction and has good long-term stability. Further, an aromatic polycarbonate resin suitable for an optical disk substrate having improved melt viscosity stability, and an optical disk substrate made of the aromatic polycarbonate resin are provided. SOLUTION: Melt polycondensation of a dihydroxy compound having 2,2-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) propane as a main component and an aromatic carbonate having diphenyl carbonate as a main component in the presence of a basic transesterification catalyst In producing at least an aromatic polycarbonate, the 2,2-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) propane is It has an orthorhombic crystal structure. After melt polycondensation, a catalyst deactivator is added to obtain an aromatic polycarbonate resin having a melt viscosity stability of 0.5% or less, and a disk substrate is formed therefrom. |
