titleOfInvention | Thermosetting powder coating composition |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a thermosetting powder coating composition excellent in storage stability and smoothness of a coating film obtained. A thermosetting powder coating composition produced by a wet method, wherein an epoxy group-containing acrylic resin (a) and a polycarboxylic acid compound are cured as raw materials of the thermosetting powder coating composition. A thermosetting powder coating composition comprising an agent (b) and a resin (c) which is liquid at room temperature. Here, in the wet method, a step (1) of producing a raw material solution by dissolving the raw material in an organic solvent, the raw material solution obtained in the step (1) is converted into an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble polymer, Mixing at a temperature lower than the cloud point to produce a suspension, and heating the suspension obtained in step (2) to a temperature higher than the cloud point to obtain secondary oil droplets. In addition, the method may include a step (3) of removing particles by distilling the organic solvent out of the system. |
