(57) [Problem] To provide a method for preserving a metathesis polymerization catalyst that can be stored for a long time while suppressing deterioration of the metathesis polymerization catalyst due to oxidation. SOLUTION: The method for storing a metathesis polymerization catalyst comprises (a) a metathesis polymerization catalyst and (b) an oxygen absorbent. (a) The metathesis polymerization catalyst is preferably a metal-type carbene catalyst, and (a) the metal-type carbene catalyst is preferably a ruthenium compound. |
