titleOfInvention | Bipyridines extended with a five-membered heterocyclic ring and a process for producing the same |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a novel compound which is easy to have a planar structure and does not cause electrode deterioration due to deposition of a polymer, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This is a compound in which pyridine is bonded to each of the 2- and 5-positions of a 5-membered hetero ring selected from a thiophene ring, a furan ring, a selenophene ring and an N-methylpyrrole ring. A substituent may be introduced on at least one N atom of pyridine. At the time of synthesis, a reaction in which a 2-mol equivalent of 4-stanylpyridine is reacted with a compound obtained by halogenating the 2,5-position of a hetero 5-membered ring selected from a thiophene ring, a furan ring, a selenophene ring and an N-methylpyrrole ring. Then, pyridine is introduced into each of the 2- and 5-positions of the 5-membered heterocycle. After the introduction of pyridine, a substituent is introduced on the N atom of each pyridine. |
