abstract | (57) [Problem] To measure the ionic strength of a liquid sample by using the cation exchange capacity of a cation exchange extractant such as phosphoric diester, not only a sample having a high specific gravity but also an extremely low specific gravity. High detection sensitivity is obtained for the sample of SOLUTION: Cation exchange extractant, pH buffer, pH A neutral extractant is included in addition to the indicator. The cation exchange extractant is an acidic organic phosphoric acid compound, the neutral extractant is a neutral organic phosphoric acid or an alcohol, and phosphate is preferably used as the neutral organic phosphoric acid. |
