titleOfInvention Pure water production method and pure water production apparatus
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce pure water of high purity easily and at low cost with simple equipment while maintaining stable purity for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A cathode chamber 4 having a cathode 3 and an anode chamber 6 having an anode 5 are formed to face each other. Cathode compartment 4 and anode compartment 6 A desalting chamber 9 and a concentrating chamber 10 are sequentially formed by the cation exchange membrane 7 and the anion exchange membrane 8 which are alternately arranged between. While applying a voltage between the cathode 3 and the anode 5, The to-be-treated water flows into the concentration chamber 10 while the to-be-treated water flows as concentrated water. The water to be treated flows into the anode chamber 6 as electrode water. The electrode water that has become acidic after passing through the anode chamber 6 flows into the cathode chamber 4. The ions in the water to be treated flowing through the desalting chamber 9 move to the concentration chamber 10 to produce deionized pure water.
