(57) [Summary] [Problem] When driving a vehicle in the cruise mode, The temperature of the battery in the low-temperature state is raised early to increase the assist amount and the regenerative power generation amount by the motor. When at least one of a battery temperature TBAT and an engine coolant temperature TW has not reached a predetermined temperature during running of a vehicle in a cruise mode, the cruise power generation amount is raised to a predetermined value CR1, and the battery temperature TBAT is increased. The charging of the battery is continued until both the engine water temperature TW and the engine water temperature TW reach a predetermined temperature. If it is determined that the battery cannot afford any more charge, power generation and assist by the motor are performed so as to cancel the periodic fluctuations in the driving force of the engine. Control is performed to suppress the vibrations that occur in the vehicle. |
