titleOfInvention Biodegradable string
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] A thermoplastic polymer mainly composed of a biodegradable lactic acid-based polymer, which retains excellent strength that can be bound with current binding machines. Provided is a string that can be machine-tied without generation and that does not accumulate in the natural environment after disposal. SOLUTION: A string having a soil degradability of 75% by weight or more of a polylactic acid having a relative viscosity of 1. A biodegradable string, characterized in that a film having a twist of 20 to 100 T / M is twisted in a film having a birefringence of not less than 8 and not more than 0.035.
