Attenuated dengue virus and dengue vaccine using the same |
abstract |
(57) [Problem] A vaccine using this strain was dangerous because a conventional dengue vaccine strain isolated from a patient with hemorrhagic dengue fever could revert to virulent. SOLUTION: An attenuated dengue virus isolated from a mild dengue (DF) patient is used as a dengue vaccine strain. This results in an excellent safe and effective dengue vaccine. A vaccine strain derived from DF, and a dengue vaccine containing this strain as an active ingredient. |
