titleOfInvention | Novel optically active 4-amino-2-methylbutyric acid derivative and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel optically active 4-amino-2-methylbutyric acid derivative and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A racemic N-substituted 4-amino-2-methylbutyric acid ester is subjected to asymmetric hydrolysis by causing a microorganism, a processed product thereof, or an enzyme to act on the ester to give optically active 4-amino-2-methyl ester. A butyric acid derivative is obtained. |
