titleOfInvention | Cyclamen flower color synthase gene |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA encoding an enzyme involved in flower color synthesis of cyclamen, particularly chalcone synthase and dihydroflavonol-4-reductase. SOLUTION: c from mRNA prepared from cyclamen DNA was synthesized, DNA encoding a part of chalcone synthase and dihydroflavonol-4-reductase was amplified by reverse transcription PCR, and the obtained DNA fragment was used as a probe to extract SEQ ID NO: 2 and SEQ ID NO: 2 from cyclamen cDNA library. DNA encoding the amino acid sequence shown in 4 is isolated. |
