titleOfInvention Liquid crystal composition and liquid crystal display device
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition for AM-LCD, having a suitable Δn value capable of increasing the viewing angle, having a low viscosity, a large negative Δε, a wide nematic phase range, and a high voltage. Provided is a liquid crystal composition having a retention. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal composition contains a component I consisting of one or more compounds of the general formula I and a component II consisting of one or more of the compounds of the general formula II-1 or -2. (R 1 , R 3 and R 5 are each independently a C1-10 alkyl group or a C2-10 alkenyl group; R 2 , R 4 and R 6 are each independently a C1-10 alkyl / alkoxy group or a C2-1. 0 alkenyl group; Z 1 and Z 2 are independently a single bond or -C H 2 CH 2 —; rings A 1 and A 2 are independently trans-1,4- Cyclohexylene, 1,4-phenylene, or 1,4-phenylene in which one or more hydrogens are substituted by fluorine. )
