titleOfInvention | Method for producing superabsorbent resin |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a method for producing a superabsorbent resin suitable for use in disposable diapers and the like. SOLUTION: In producing a superabsorbent resin by suspension polymerization by sequentially supplying an aqueous monomer solution containing a monovinyl monomer and a crosslinking agent into a hydrophobic organic solvent under polymerization conditions, the supply amount of the monovinyl monomer is reduced to 40%. The average molar ratio of the crosslinking agent to the monovinyl monomer in the aqueous monomer solution supplied until the supply amount of the monovinyl monomer reaches 40% to 99%, compared to the average molar ratio of the crosslinking agent to the monovinyl monomer in the aqueous monomer solution supplied to the aqueous solution. Increase ratio. |
