abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a simple and safe water vapor such as a steam towel that can be continuously supplied to the skin and mucous membranes of the body. SOLUTION: A steam-generating body 10A applied to the skin or mucous membrane is provided with a steam-generating part 2 made of a steam-generating composition 1 containing metal powder, salts and water and releasing steam as the metal powder is oxidized. and an adhesive layer 4 is provided on the surface to be applied to the skin or mucous membrane.
