abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a ferrule manufacturing method for forming a ferrule having good productivity, excellent dimensional accuracy, and excellent surface characteristics. SOLUTION: An optical fiber ferrule body cavity portion is constituted by a seamless cylinder formed in a mold body, and at least one end face of the cavity is formed in a cavity of an optical fiber ferrule constituted by a slide core. After penetrating the fine wire through the longitudinal direction, injecting a molten thermoplastic resin to form a ferrule in the cavity, opening the slide core, and moving the ferrule molded product a predetermined distance in the fine wire direction from the mold. A method for producing an optical fiber ferrule, comprising taking out the optical fiber ferrule. |
